The Arai Corsair-X Motorcycle Helmet advances the commitment to rider safety with a design focused on mitigating both direct impacts and the effects of angular collisions. The product features a resilient shell structure and a refined shape engineered to more effectively redirect impact energy, thereby reducing the force transmitted to the rider. The Variable Axis System (VAS) enhances this protective function with a downsized and repositioned side pod and pivot cover, elevating the helmet's ability to deflect energy from oblique impacts. For additional rider comfort, the helmet is outfitted with a chin curtain that curtails air intrusion from below and boosts the exhaust ventilation's efficacy by intensifying negative pressure. Inside, the helmet is lined with Arai's trademark 5mm peel away padding at the ear pockets, which can be adjusted for fit or to make room for communication devices. This attention to detail ensures both superior protection and a customized fit for the rider.

PB SNC2 Shell:

• Constructed from Super Fiber and other special synthetic fibers developed for F-1 helmet visor panels
• Assembled and bonded by Arai experts
• Specially-developed resin creates stronger bonds between shell materials with less weight
• Shell has superb tensile strength due to a variety of carefully-positioned materials and light weight resin

VAS Shield System:

• VAS (Variable Axis System) face shield and side pods are exclusive to the Arai Corsair X Helmet
• Variable axis (moving pivot point) allows shield mount position to be lower than most helmets
• Dual function lever releases both the side pod and the face shield for quick and simple face shield removal

VAS Shield Latch System:

• Captures and holds the face shield closed securely
• Provides a de-mist position to slightly crack the shield open
• Larger latch design allows for intuitive and seamless operation

VAS V MV Shield:

• Provides excellent visibility in all seasons
• Includes clear anti-fog Pinlock insert

Diffuser Type 12:

• X Type 12 air diffusers are longer than the Corsair V
• Straightened for improved aerodynamics
• Work together with the AirWing to improve stability and creates a 19% gain in efficiency
• Air intake vents have three positions (closed, half open and fully open)
• Vents are easy to operate with gloved hands
• Air intake vents create a tight seal to decrease wind noise and water intrusion

Arai's Proprietary Liner:

• Fully removable and soft  interior liner and cheek pads
• Made from odor-resistant material which helps maintain neutral acidity levels close to human skin
• Adjustable temple padding to allow for a customized fit
• Neckroll is removable and has additional exhaust channels to remove interior heat
