Each lever is crafted from CNC-machined 6061 billet aluminum and features an innovative design that allows it to pivot forward when encountering an impact, effectively reducing damage during a crash or tip-over. This mechanism ensures levers immediately return to their initial position, offering riders both convenience and added safety. In the event of unexpected contact while riding, there is no need for immediate manual readjustment. At the pivot, the levers integrate high quality chromoly steel bearings with ABEC precision ratings, providing smooth operation without play over the long term. The accompanying high-tensile chrome silicon cantilever spring is rated for more than 100,000 rotations, ensuring quick restoration to the home position without loss of tension. Furthermore, each lever includes a CNC machined adjustable setscrew offering four inches of range to suit various hand sizes and to account for changes in brake pressure. A thoughtfully placed acorn-style lock nut keeps the setscrew fixed while remaining unobtrusive.
