The Sand series from REV'IT! stands as an emblem of the adventure gear landscape, known for its exclusive style and loaded with high-grade features. The Sand 5 H2O jacket proudly carries this tradition forward, presenting enhancements that refine rather than redefine its reliable predecessors. Constructed from an abrasion-resistant polyester ripstop shell, the Sand 5 jacket now offers improved airflow with large zippers on the sleeves and augmented ventilation panels at the chest and back. The jacket not only provides substantial ventilation but also ensures the rider's comfort in various weather conditions with its detachable hydratex|3L and thermal liners—perfect for waterproofing and insulation. These liners can be utilized separately or combined according to the journey's demands and detached to construct a standalone jacket system ideal for setting up camp. The Sand 5 also delivers formidable impact protection, with SEEFLEX CE Level 2 armor securing shoulders and elbows. Furthermore, the jacket is compatible with an optional SEESOFT back protector to complete the armor suite, offering riders comprehensive protection on their adventures.
This fifth generation version of the REV'IT! Sand Jacket adds more ventilation and improvements in the waterproof and thermal liner systems over the previous Sand 4 Jacket (from 2021). With a AA protective certification, the Sand 5 Jacket is ready for ADV riding and on-road touring in all four seasons. Overall, the Sand 5 Jacket (and pants) benefits from a long list of small improvements that result in big wins for rider-friendliness and ease of daily use.
